COMP Cams Super Dirt Series set for Boothill Invasion
By Ben Shelton (Locust Grove, AR) -- The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil will head to Cajun country this Saturday as they sanction an event at Boothill Speedway.
Two-time and defending CCSDS Champion, Jack Sullivan has built an a solid advantage atop the series standings. The Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man will be followed into battle this weekend by the remainder of the Top 10, including Garrett Alberson, Kyle Beard, Zach McMillan, Robert Baker, B.J. Robinson, Gavin Landers, Tanner Kellick, Jon Mitchell, and Chandler Petty.
As the season approaches the homestretch the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year battle is getting tight. Texas racer, Zach McMillan holds a 2-point advantage over Louisiana’s Tanner Kellick. Brandon Wilson is third in the competition.
This Saturday, August 26 the CCSDS rolls into Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) for a $2,500-to-win/$400-to-start event. The tour was rained out at the facility back on July 8.
Grandstand admission is $20 for adults with kids (age 6-11) $5 and children (ages 5 and under) free. General admission for senior citizens and military is $10. Pit admission is $35.
Gates open at 4 p.m. with the draw ending at 6:15 p.m. and hot laps at 7:00 p.m.
