The 8th Annual King of The Hill Weekend Schedule and Ticket Prices
GREENWOOD, LA - The $10,000 To-Win 8th Annual King of the Hill is July 27th – 30th. The weekend will begin with an Open Practice at 7 PM on Wednesday, July 27th before racing begins on Thursday, July 28th and continues thru July 30th. Granger Equipment Factory Stock Racers will earn points every time they are on the track and the combined points from Thursday and Friday night will determine Saturday night's race lineups with the Top 8 in points being locked into Saturday’s $10,000 To-Win Main Event. The Cadillac Chassis Challenge also posts bonuses of $500, $1000, and $2,000 depending on the number of events a driver wins. As in years past, there is NO ENTRY FEE!!! Race Time will 8 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
The Weekend will also see the continuation and conclusion of the 2nd Annual Billy Melton Memorial $5,087 To-Win LED4Life Limited Modified event and a Non-Qualifiers event for the Limited Modifieds has been added. The B Mains for the Limited Modifieds will be on Friday night July 29th. Then on Saturday night, July 30th the 20 car non-qualifier $500 To-Win event for the first 20 cars that do not make the main event on Friday night and the $5,087 To-Win Main Event will be run. New Entries are welcome to enter on Friday, July 29th. Any new entries will be lined up behind cars already qualified from the Friday, July 1st event. As in years past, there is NO ENTRY FEE!!!
The weekend will also see special ticket pricing on the General Admission side with Thursday night’s Admission is ONLY $5 with Kids 5 and Under FREE, Friday night’s General Admission is ONLY $10 with Kids 6 – 11 $5 and Kids 5 and Under FREE, Saturday’s night’s Main Event General Admission is $20 with Kids 6 – 11 $10 and Kids 5 and Under FREE. There will be no General Admission on Wednesday, July 27th. Pit Passes for the weekend are $20 on Wednesday, $35 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Thursday night’s race action will be comprised of both heat, last chance, and feature race action in the Factory Stocks. The field will be divided into 2 groups based on the pill draw. Each group will then compete in their own set of heat, last chance, and feature race action with the feature winner in each group receiving $1,000 To-Win. The twin features will start 24 cars with Passing Points being utilized in the heat races each preliminary night. The Pro Mods will also be in action with a full set of Heat and Feature Race Action.
Friday night’s race action will once again be comprised of both heat, last chance, and feature race action in the Factory Stocks. The format and Purse will mirror Thursday night with the fields being set by the Pill Draw for Friday night. The Frazier Accounting Crate Late Models will be racing a full race program on Friday night along with the B Mains in the LED4Life Limited Modifieds.
Saturday night, the combined points from Thursday and Friday’s Factory Stock action will determine the C Main and B Main lineups with the Top 8 from Thursday and Friday night being locked into the King of the Hill’s $10,000 To-Win 50 Lap Main Event. The Top 8 will run a pole dash to determine their starting order on Saturday night. The 2nd Annual Billy Melton Memorial $5,087 To-Win LED4 Life Limited Modifieds Main Event is Saturday night along with the non-qualifiers $500 To-Win Main Event. The FWDs will also be on the card with a full race program of heat and Feature Race action.
The Sportsters will not be in action over the King of the Hill Weekend.

• To Be eligible, drivers must compete in all 3 qualifying nights, Thursday thru Saturday.
• Any driver that wins 2 of 3 Feature Events - $500
• Any driver that wins 2 of 3 Feature Events and the Pole Dash - $1,000
• Any driver that wins 3 of 3 Feature Events and the Pole Dash - $2,000
