    COMP Cams Super Dirt Series roars Back into Action This Weekend in Arkansas and Louisiana

    By Ben Shelton (Conway, AR) -- The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series presented by Lucas Oil is set to resume their 2019 campaign this weekend – July 19-20 – with events at Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Arkansas) and Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana).

    Thus far into the season there have been six events contested with four different winners. Midwest Sheet Metal Marked Man, Tony Jackson Jr. has built his point lead upon two victories as well as consistency. Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer, Billy Moyer has claimed two wins, while Will Vaught and Jesse Stovall each have a single victory.

    Trailing Jackson Jr. in the standings are B.J. Robinson, Hunter Rasdon, Timothy Culp, Morgan Bagley, Kyle Beard, Jesse Stovall, Brian Rickman, Scott Crigler, Gavin Landers, Charlie Cole and David Payne.

    Missouri’s Scott Crigler has built a sizeable advantage atop the Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year standings. Charlie Cole and Chad Mallett currently round out the rookie points.

    The seventh round of the 2019 campaign comes to life on Friday night, July 19 at Texarkana 67 Speedway (Texarkana, Arkansas) with a $2,500-to-win/ $400-to-start event sponsored by W&W Timber. IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Southern Sport Modifieds, and Hobby Stocks will all be part of the program.

    Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and racing at 8:00 p.m. General grandstand admission is $20 with military/seniors $15, kids (ages 6-12) $5 and children (ages 5-and-under) free. Pit admission is $35.

    Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) welcomes the traveling CCSDS contingent to town on Saturday night, July 20 for a $3,000-to-win/ $400-to-start program. Modifieds, Limited Modifieds, Factory Stocks, ProMods, FWD, and Beginners will accompany the night’s card.

    Gates open at 4:00 p.m. with the draw ending at 6:45 p.m. and racing action at 8:00 p.m. General grandstand admission is $20 with kids (ages 6-11) $5 and children (ages 5-and-under) Free. Pit passes are $35.

    The tire rule for the events is Hoosier 1350 on all four corners with an LM40 right-rear option.
