Jon Mitchell races to 12th-place finish at Boothill Speedway

Jon Mitchell was one of 40 Crate Late Models on hand at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) on Saturday afternoon piloting his Healthcare Express No. 5 Late Model. Following a fourth-place finish in his heat race, Mitchell streaked to a 12-lap consolation victory, which positioned him 17th on the starting grid for the feature. Gaining five spots in the 30-lap affair, Jon scored a 12th-place finish.
