Beard visits Boothill for Ronny Adams Memorial
Kicking off the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) season, Kyle Beard invaded Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) on Friday night for the two-day Ronny Adams Memorial. Drawing 34 cars, Kyle secured his spot into the opening night feature with a second place finish in his heat behind Billy Moyer. Earning the eighth-starting position for the A-Main, Beard clawed forward four spots to register a fourth-place finish, trailing Logan Martin, B.J. Robinson, and Billy Moyer across the line with Earl Pearson Jr. coming in fifth. (Turn 3 Images | Millie Tanner photo)
The following night, Beard came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Streaking to a 10-lap consolation victory, Kyle locked into the 17th-starting position for the $7,000-to-win A-Main. Breaking into the Top-10, Kyle Beard improved seven spots in the 40-lapper to finish 10th.
With the first two events in the books, Kyle is seventh in the CCSDS point standings.
