Bagley marches to Top-10 finish in Ronny Adams Memorial at Boothill
Morgan Bagley made his 2021 season debut on Friday afternoon at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned weekend. Drawing 34 cars for the two-day Ronny Adams Memorial, Bagley timed in third in his group but his team found mechanical issues afterward that prevented him from starting his heat. Failing to place third or better, Morgan was granted a provisional into the opening night feature. With $3,000 on the line, Bagley improved three spots to place 16th. (Scott Burson photo)
The following night, Morgan came one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fourth-place finish, transferring him into the B-Main. Streaking to a 12-lap consolation victory, Bagley locked into the 18th-starting position for the $7,000-to-win finale. Breaking into the Top-10, Morgan Bagley improved nine spots in the 40-lap affair to register a ninth-place finish.
With the first two events in the books, Morgan is currently 11th in the CCSDS point standings.
