Fifth-place finish in Comp Cams opener at Boothill

Morgan Bagley invaded Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) on Friday afternoon to compete with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) as the tour kicked off the 2022 slate with the two-day Ronny Adams Memorial. With 35 Late Models entered, Morgan came in fifth in his heat before picking up a consolation victory. Starting the opening night feature in 17th, Bagley advanced through the field 12 spots in the 35-lapper to register an impressive fifth-place finish. For the $10,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday, Bagley’s fifth-to-third run in his heat race locked him on the sixth row for the feature. Clawing forward two spots in the 50-lap affair, Morgan recorded a ninth-place outing.
