Beard competes in Comp Cams opener at Boothill

Taking part in the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) opening weekend, Kyle Beard ventured to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) on Friday evening for the two-day Ronny Adams Memorial. With 35 Late Models entered, Kyle came in sixth in his heat before placing second in his B-Main. Rolling off 19th for the opening night feature, Beard was one of 12 cars that retired early. On Saturday night, Beard secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a consolation victory after finish fifth in his heat. Clawing forward three spots in the 50-lap affair, Kyle recorded a 15th-place outing.
