2nd Annual Billy Melton Memorial Finale Rained Out and Rescheduled
GREENWOOD, LA - The Finale of the 2nd Annual Billy Melton Memorial has been postponed due to rain.
With the overnight rain, continued morning rains, and rain forecast to stay in the area through mid-afternoon Boothill Speedway has been forced to postpone tonight's finale of the Billy Melton Memorial. We wanted to get it in this weekend, but mother nature made the decision for us.
The Limited Modifieds will conclude the Billy Melton Memorial as a part of the 8th Annual King of the Hill weekend on July 27th - 30th. The show will continue on with the Top 6 in Passing Points from last night locked in, with the remainder of last night's field split into B Mains. New Limited Modified entries will be welcomed that weekend. More details on the weekend schedule will be published in the coming days.
The Factory Stock portion of the Billy Melton Memorial will conclude at a date TBD. The Top 12 in Passing Points from last night are locked in. We are going to look at our schedule, other race events already scheduled, and announce that date as well in the coming days.
