COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Opens 2023 this Weekend at Boothill
The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) opens their 2023 campaign this Friday – Saturday, March 10 – 11 at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) with the fourth annual Ronny Adams Memorial.
The weekend slate includes a $5,000-to-win program on Friday night and a $10,000-to-win finale on Saturday evening.
“We couldn’t be more excited to get the 2023 season underway, and the Ronny Adams Memorial is a great way to once again begin a big year for our series,” said CCSDS CEO Chris Sullivan. “We have a heckuva field of drivers planning to be at this event, and we are ready to put on a show for the great fans at Boothill Speedway this Friday and Saturday.”
Leading the talent-laden roster into battle will be defending CCSDS Champion Brian Rickman. The Columbus, Miss. native will be joined by former series champions, Logan Martin (2020 & 2021), Kyle Beard (2013 and 2014), Jon Mitchell (2012), and Billy Moyer Jr. (2009).
Joining the previous champions is an expected star-studded field, which includes Jonathan Davenport, Morgan Bagley, B.J. Robinson, Hunter Rasdon, Spencer Hughes, Terry Phillips, Tony Jackson Jr., Brett Frazier, Jarret Stuckey, Clayton Stuckey, Clay Fisher, Tyler Stevens, Rick Rickman, Cade Dillard, Jon Kirby, Chandler Petty, David Payne, David Nichols, Brad Couch, Bubba Mullins, Cody Leonard, Patrick Daniel, Ross Farmer, Preston Farmer, and a host of additional stars!
In 2022 Brian Rickman won the Ronny Adams Memorial opener, while 2022 Midwest Sheet Metal Rookie of the Year, Tyler Stevens banked the $10,000 finale win.
The weekend opens with an Open Practice on Thursday, March 9. The grandstands will be closed with $20 pit admission.
Friday night’s program is headlined by a $5,000-to-win CCSDS program with Sportsters and Tuners sharing the spotlight with the divisions battling in respective $200-to-win programs.
Saturday’s event finds the $10,000-to-win Ronny Adams Memorial finale for the CCSDS contingent. Factory Stocks ($500-to-win) and Limited Mods ($500-to-win) also join the night’s fun.
The CCSDS weekend tire rule is an Hoosier NLMT2 or Hoosier LM20 on all four corners with a Hoosier NLMT3 or Hoosier LM30 right-rear option.
Friday grandstand admission is $20 (ages 12-and-up) with children (ages 6-11) $10, and kids (5-and-under) free. Pit admission is $40.

The pit gate opens at 4 p.m. CT and the grandstand gate opens at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 6:15 p.m., racing action at 7 p.m.
