USRA SOUTHERN NATIONALS

Event officials regrettably announce that this weekend's Summit USRA Southern Nationals and USMTS Battle at Boothill events at the Boothill Speedway in Greenwood, La., are canceled with the dismal forecast in the area in the coming days.

"We hate it," said USMTS and USRA President Todd Staley. "It's been one of the dryest falls we've ever see, but not when we plan a race. It sucks for the track operators, their staff, the fans and our racers, but with the cost of diesel fuel and everything else associated with travel, we will not reschedule these two events this late in the year."
